Fans of the late rapper Mac Miller, have recently discovered the musician had a secret Instagram account which fans didn’t know about.
Mac, full name Malcolm James McCormick, was found dead on September 7 at his San Fernando Valley home at around noon, according to a statement from the coroner.
It was revealed earlier this month the 26-year-old died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol, according to a toxicology report released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner. The cause of death was listed as ‘mixed drug toxicity’.
Mac first burst onto the rap scene with an array of mixtapes, which started with 2007’s But My Mackin’ Ain’t Easy.
The rapper was renowned for his versatile styles and flows on the microphone. While he had an eclectic taste in music, at his core he was a hip-hop purist.
He was embraced by both old and new school hip-hop fans and his passing left a void within the hip-hop community.
Now though, his fans have discovered something which not many knew about him; he posted under a different alias on a secret Instagram account.
The account, under the name @cloudywithachanceofawesome69, was dedicated to vaping and has several videos of the rapper talking to his fans.
In the very first video, posted on July 2 last year, the rapper can be seen vaping after announcing, ‘forecast today – cloudy’.
The caption alongside the video reads:
It’s Cloudy With A Chance of Awesome outside! Welcome to my channel guys. Get ready for some super dope content!!! [sic]

On the page, Mac assumed a different persona, Lars – a guy who loves vaping and wants to share his various vaping tricks with the world.
In one post, he shows his followers how to ‘maximise the level of litness’ before blowing the vapour out of his nostrils.
In another, he introduces himself as Lars before announcing he’s going to demonstrate how to do a vaping trick known as the Chef Boy RD.
Holding out a plate of cherry tomatoes, the rapper grabs two of them and puts one in each nostril. He then gets his vape and tells his followers to ‘take a big rip’ before inhaling.
The tomatoes then fire out of his nose as the vape forces its way out of his nostrils. Pretty impressive but, to be honest, I’d just be terrified of getting the tomatoes stuck inside my nose forever.
Since the discovery of the account, his fans have been commenting on the individual posts, stating how much they miss him.
One person commented:
I’m a sham I didn’t even know about this account. He was so f*cking funny [sic]
While another said:
Just found this account yesterday had me trippin that Mac’s alter ego had the same name as me – rest easy king [sic]
And another wrote:
I just laughed so f*cking hard. So he had Larry lovestein. Larry fisherman. And Larz [sic]
The account only followed 27 others, most of which were vaping accounts (obviously), but as of today (November 27), the page has 54K followers and is growing.
