Machine Gun Kelly’s new album Hotel Diablo has arrived and – perhaps unsurprisingly – it includes a diss track which appears to take aim at Eminem.

The track, entitled Floor 13, appears to fire verbal shots at the Lose Yourself rapper, implying Eminem ‘tried to send a kill shot, missin’ me’.

You can make up your own mind about who exactly these lyrics were directed towards below:

The Floor 13 refrain contains the following telling lyrics:

I just spent too many minutes watching little videos of shitty wannabe rappers dissing me/I just spent the winter livin’ after someone tried to send a kill shot, missin’ me’.

This appears to be a reference to Killshot, Eminem’s lyrical skewering of MGK which poured scorn over the younger rapper’s career and abilities.

In the second verse of Floor 13, MGK brags, ‘One legend that tried to fuck with me and then got the venom’. Fans have a pretty good inkling who this ‘legend’ could be, particularly as the verse focuses on MGK listing his various rap credentials.

The feud between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly appears to have cooled in recent months, meaning some fans are little perplexed as to why the 29-year-old has chosen to resurrect their war of words.

Some have even even accused MGK of ‘clout chasing’, noting that he should just admit Eminem had thoroughly roasted him with Killshot and move on.

One person tweeted:

Machine gun kelly’s new album is great tbh, but he needs to admit that eminem killed him lyrically and stop sub dissing him to get attention.

Another sighed:

Machine Gun Kelly could be good at music but it’s just so cringey when he talks about Eminem at this point.

We get it your the “Gunner” and your mad at him or whatever and shit but it doesn’t make good music and it doesn’t make anyone wanna be on ur side when u make bad music.

The beef appears to have begun back in 2012 after Kelly tweeted about Em’s daughter, Hailie being ‘hot as fuck’. Kelly has also claimed Eminem banned him from appearing on his Shade 45 channel.

In 2018, things became even more heated when the warring rappers proceeded to dual with each other through a back-and-forth series of brutal diss tracks.

Things appeared to have fizzled out in recent months. However, could it be this latest shot will fan the flames further?
