In the latest Kanye West news, it seems that Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has allegedly issued a subtle response to the rapper’s plea for money.

Over the weekend – in one of many, many, recent Twitter outbursts – Kanye claimed he was $53million (£37m) in debt and asked the Facebook CEO to stump up some cash.

In a series of tweets, he wrote:

Zuckerberg hasn’t responded with a statement but, in a subtle yet hilarious retort, he did appear to like a Facebook user’s status about Kanye’s ambitious bid, reports the Mirror.

The post by a former Facebook software engineer named Steven Grim has now been deleted, but he wrote:

Dear Kanye West: If you’re going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don’t do it on Twitter.

In the rant, the rapper also claimed he is ‘this generation’s Disney’ who needs the ‘resources’ to make the world ‘a better place.’

He continued:

Mark, I am publicly asking you for help… one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need.

I know I can make the world a better place… I have done the impossible … I retook the throne of rap… I beat the fashion game.

Kanye also asked Google co-founder Larry Page for financial assistance, insisting helping him would be more beneficial than ‘opening up one school in Africa.’

I’m afraid that, as usual, most people will have to strongly disagree with Kanye on that one.
