Martin Shkreli Just Made Kanye West A Ridiculous Offer

In his latest spate of twattery, Martin Shkreli has offered Kanye West $10 million to not release his upcoming album The Life of Pablo to the general public.

I guess this isn’t too surprising, seeing as he managed to acquire exclusive rights to another hip hop record by Wu-Tang Clan last year.

Shkreli, 32, paid $2 million for Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, with the deal meaning only Shkreli got a copy of the album. In December he claimed he hadn’t listened to the album yet…

West’s album debuted on Thursday during an event at Madison Square Garden – it was also live-streamed online and broadcast to theatres.

But in a series of tweets and a letter Shkreli begged Yeezy to withhold the release of his upcoming album, instead asking him to sell it solely to him.

In the letter Shkreli also described himself as a huge fan of West, and said he was inspired to succeed by his album The College Dropout.

He even suggested that his offer would be ‘more attractive’ than his current course of action. Highly doubt that, mate.

Shkreli’s offer would apparently delay the album by a few days.

The former CEO became infamous after raising the price of a HIV drug by 5,500 per cent – he then backtracked and said he wouldn’t raise the price, but then did it anyway, because money.

This earned him the title of ‘the most hated man on the internet’.

However, it seemed he’d finally got his comeuppance when federal prosecutors charged him with fraud in December, leading him to resign as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals.

It’ll be interesting to see how Kanye will respond…
