Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially married.
Footage emerged a few days ago of Miley and Liam at a small private ceremony that looked a hell of a lot like a wedding. Close friend Conrad Carr had shared a picture of the couple seemingly cutting a cake while close family and friends watched on.
He then shared a video of Hemsworth and his family, including Thor (Chris), necking a row of shots.
But now the marriage has been confirmed by the bride herself on Instagram (because where else do celebrities announce their news these days!?).
The 26-year-old actor and singer shared the following sweet post:
Before following up with these:
Miley also uploaded a video of herself dancing in her wedding dress on Instagram to Uptown Funk.
As if all this wasn’t enough proof an actual real-life wedding took place, Instagram account ‘Comments By Celebs’ caught Miley in her own comment section admitting:
Initial speculation had suggested Liam, 28, had wanted to get married in his native Australia but after the fires at their home in Malibu, they ended up in a small, private ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee.
Miley’s mum Trish was there, alongside Liam’s actor brothers Chris and Luke.
The couple met in 2009 and got engaged in 2012 but broke up a year later. However, they rekindled their relationship a few years later and it’s been smooth sailing since 2016.
There was a rumour the pair had split up earlier this year, with Liam wanting to settle down and have kids and Miley finding herself ‘not quite ready’ for that lifestyle.
But clearly the happy couple got through whatever those rumours started from and are now happily married.
Congratulations Miley and Liam!
