Mum Buys Baby Shark Singing Handwash, Ends Up Throwing It Out Window

By :

If we were to run a poll on the most annoying things to come out of 2018, I’d put money on Baby Shark being in the top three.

Obviously, the Kiki challenge and any tweet sent by Donald Trump would be solid contenders, but there’s just something about Baby Shark which just grinds everyone’s gears.

In particular, the gears of one mum from Stoke-on-Trent, who couldn’t take the grating sound of the viral song any longer and decided to take action.

The mum, Darlene Roxanne Barnish, had bought a Baby Shark hand wash that plays the tune every time it’s pumped. Fun for the kids, and hell for anyone else in the house.

Available to purchase from Savers, the hand wash is new in store and is already proving popular among younger generations.

The soap costs just £1.69, a small price to pay for the luxury of torturing yourself and your family for eternity (or for however long it takes for the soap to run out).

Despite its popularity among the youngsters, the handwash is proving too much for mums, such as Darlene, to handle.

As reported by The Sun, the mum took to Facebook group The Mother Load yesterday (June 11) to share a picture of the hand wash – which had somehow made its way out of her window and into the garden below.

Alongside the picture, she wrote:

Had enough of this sh*t already! Don’t recommend

I can’t blame her in the slightest. Five seconds of that song and I’ve had enough, never mind every time you wash your hands.

Despite the mum’s aversion to the hand wash, other parents can’t wait to get their hands on it – with Savers’ Instagram receiving thousands of views in less than 24 hours.

One parent said their children would ‘love’ the product, while another said they have ‘got to get this’. Well, rather you than me guys.

The now-viral song, courtesy of Pinkfong, was released in 2016 but became popular worldwide last year. It’s since racked up more than 2.9 billion views on YouTube alone, which is pretty darn impressive.

Baby Shark doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon either; it was announced it’s being turned into a TV programme.

So, expect more Baby Shark merch to follow…
