Noel Gallagher has responded to a seemingly threatening message his brother Liam sent to his daughter Anaïs.

The Oasis star took to Twitter today (July 3) to share a screenshot of 19-year-old Anaïs’ phone, which showed a message from ‘Uncle Liam’ reading ‘Tell your step mam to be very careful’.

Attached to the message was a screenshot of its own, in which Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald had responded to an Instagram comment asking if she was going to watch Liam perform at Glastonbury.

In case I’ve lost you with the string of screenshots, check out the message below:

Responding to the Instagram comment, Sara wrote:

think I’m going to swerve that. The fat twat doing his tribute act, balancing a tambourine on his head is going to look pretty dated after Stormzy.

Liam had presumably come across the comment and wanted to ‘warn’ Sara against criticising him but in order to do so he decided to go through Anaïs – a move dad Noel was very unhappy with.

In response to the message the 52-year-old addressed his brother, writing:

so you’re sending threatening messages via my teenage daughter now are you?

You were always good at intimidating women though eh?

what you planning on doing anyway?

Noel went on to speculate about what his brother might do if he followed through on the apparent threat, writing:

Grabbing my wife by the throat to show her who’s boss… or maybe trying to waddle through our double gates and performing ‘Shitwave’ in the communal garden or daubing your wank lyrics on the toilet walls?

If I wake up to find one of the kids gerbils upside down on the cheese board with a knife in it I’ll be sure to inform the local care in the community officer.

And don’t try and kidnap the cat either we’ve just employed Ross Kemp as his close protection officer.

Enjoy the summer Big Tits.

Catch up soon.

It’s unclear whether Noel was simply addressing his little brother through Twitter or whether he sent the message to his former bandmate directly but Liam does not appear to have responded as of yet.
