It might sound crazy, but it ain’t no lie: *NSYNC is reuniting.
Lance Bass revealed the news to Entertainment Tonight’s Katie Krause, saying all five members (which, yes, includes Justin Timberlake) are planning a music release to coincide with their upcoming album anniversary, along with a reunion appearance.
Bass told ET:
We’re coming out with a really cool vinyl edition of our Christmas album because it’s coming up on the 20 years of that [1998 ‘Home for Christmas’] album. And then we’re going to be getting our star on the [Hollywood] Walk of Fame this year at some point.
But while the reunion will definitely happen this year, Bass elaborated that the crew still has to decide on a date.
“We’re terrible at planning things,” he said. “We’re five guys, so for us to make a decision about anything is really hard, so we just need to do it. So hopefully maybe around Christmas time. It’ll be fun to see everybody again.”
Sounds like Christmas can’t come soon enough.
In the meantime, we’ll just blast this:
But don’t get too excited yet.
Justin Timberlake is a busy man, having just wrapped up a role in Woody Allen’s Wonder Wheel and being Oscar-nominated for his song Can’t Stop The Feeling in Trolls.
Taking a look at his schedule, he’ll probably only get involved if there are no strings attached.
Here’s to hoping if Justin Timberlake’s does make an appearance, so does his 90s ramen noodle hair.
