Pop singer Pink met her match at a recent concert, after being blown away by a 12-year-old fan who sang for her.
Stopping at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, on her Beautiful Trauma world tour, the 38-year-old pop star asked young fan Victoria Anthony to sing to her.
Victoria had previously put out a plea on social media asking Pink if she could perform at the show which caught the attention of social media.
On Twitter, Victoria, who taught herself to play guitar and piano through the help of the internet, shared a video of herself singing, in the hope Pink would see it and let her perform at the concert.
She wrote:
Hey Pink, please let me sing on stage with you in Vancouver May 12. I’ll be ready! – Victoria (age 12).
Share this video and tag #vicandpink to make my dream come true.
The hashtag and tweet, of course, went viral as fellow fans shared Victoria’s video.
Several news websites in America also picked up on the campaign, meaning Victoria was making headlines across the country.
When the night arrived, a nervous Victoria tweeted her seat number in the hope Pink would see the message and then try to find her at the venue.
She wrote:
Eating my favourite prawn ravioli at Cactus Club Cafe before Beautiful Trauma Tour. Pink, you can find me at row four, seat 43.
During the concert, Pink walked down to the front row to go and talk to Victoria.
She asked the beaming fan:
Are you who I read about on the news? Do you want to come sing something?
A clearly ecstatic Victoria couldn’t quite believe her luck, but went on to sing a stunning rendition of Perfect which blew Pink away – as well as the audience.

After Victoria had finished singing the two embraced, with Pink telling the young girl: ‘you’re amazing’.
Her excited family could be heard screaming in delight in the background, repeating: ‘you did it, you did it’ as Pink returned to stage.
I’m sure it’s a night Victoria will remember for the rest of her life!
Speaking to Global News after the show, Victoria gushed about how incredible it was to meet her idol saying:
I’m still kind of in shock.
What I’m taking away from this, and what everyone should take away, is, that when you want something, like, nothing is impossible.
You can always achieve something; [it] is just about the amount of effort you put in. It’s the beginning of something new. So I’m just really excited.
Victoria added she’ll continue to work on her music, as well as the possibility of releasing a few original songs too!
We wish Victoria all the best with her dream to become a professional singer. If she impressed Pink, I’m sure it’ll happen one day!
