Post Malone’s plane successfully made its emergency landing, and the first words out of the rapper’s mouth were hilarious.
The American musician was on a plane today (Tuesday 21 August), travelling from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, heading for London, UK. While the plane was taking off, its tyres blew out, meaning an emergency landing had to be made.
The flight circled in the air for some time, but finally landed in Stewart International Airport in New York.
Post Malone tweeted his thanks to his fans who were sending him well wishes throughout the ordeal – although he had another response for the people who weren’t so kind…
The 23-year-old tweeted:
i landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can’t believe how many people wished death on me on this website. f*ck you. but not today. [sic]

People had been making predictions about how the rapper would act following the plane’s landing, with a few drawing upon the star’s love of beer for their guesses.
One person said:
U know Post Malone came out of that plane with a beer in his hand, cig in his mouth screaming “I LIVED MOTHERF*CKER” [sic]
Another fan added:
I hope @PostMalone lands and immediately does a beer bong.

Well, it seems the fans weren’t so far off with their predictions.
TMZ managed to video chat with the American star when he was back on the ground, and they asked him about his scary experience.
Check out the video here:
Staying true to himself, the rapper said:
I need a beer, and some wine. At the same time mixed together.
I think it’s a pretty reasonable response, given the situation.
Fans loved his honest reaction, and shared their relief and enjoyment after finding out Post Malone was safe.
One fan responded:
Love Post Malone he said he a needs a beer and some wine ..maybe together after that landing..love u Post Malone!!! [sic]

He added how he already had a fear of flying, and implied the crew on the plane had done a great job in getting everyone on the ground safely.
He said:
I hate flying in general. I don’t even know what to say, I’m shook. There’s one hell of a team on that aircraft and we’re here, we’re here on earth.
The rapper was heading to the UK ahead of his performances at Reading and Leeds Festival this upcoming bank holiday weekend.
Hopefully he’ll get there safe and sound, ready to put on an incredible show.
