Meeting one of the most powerful men in the world must be a pretty daunting and nerve-wracking experience to say the least.
So you’ve got to feel a bit sorry for Rick Ross, after he embarrassed himself in front of none other than the president of the United States, Barack Obama, after being invited to the White House.
The 40-year-old rapper was joined by fellow artists including; Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris.
These artists were there to support Obama’s Brother’s Keeper youth initiative which focuses on empowering black and Latino youth and essentially keeping them out of trouble.
It was a pretty serious affair and fancy enough for Ross to throw on is best suit – which covered the ankle monitor he has to wear – a condition of his release after a high-profile kidnapping case.
But TMZ report that just when Obama was finishing his speech, Ross’ anklet ripped through the silence. So awkward.
Apparently he wasn’t even that phased by the experience, as the anklet is pretty new and it randomly beeps all the day- just a small price he has to pay really.
He’s worn the ankle monitor since he was released from prison after posting a a $2 million bond in July 2015.
Ross was originally arrested after he allegedly kidnapped and assaulted his groundskeeper.
