After absolutely killing it with his freestyle on Sway In The Morning last month, Shia LaBeouf has gained the respect of a fair few rap fans.
He’s since followed up with another track aimed at Lil Yachty and Soulja Boy on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club last week, and it’s causing a bit of a feud.
The reference to the ‘Crank That’ hit maker is brief:
Not a Nautica boy, I own myself/ This whole thing’s a bit absurd but on my word/ Is Boat about to get this work/ You spit that dirt/ Him and Soulja on that shout out shit/ This is not, this a murder, this is tragedy man/ He’s like Lil Romeo meets Raggedy Ann.
But that was enough to provoke an angry, profanity-filled Instagram video from Soulja Boy, who declared that the actor is hereby banned from the city of Atlanta.
Here’s a snippet of his rant, entitled ‘Fuck Shia LaBeouf!!!’:
You a b-tch a– n—a, you can’t never come to Atlanta. You can’t never come to the streets in the hood. You can never live my life, n—a. You need to stick to acting, real sh-t n—a.

Yeah, all of that energy is for Shia LaBeouf.
If you’re keeping score, this is just another squabble for Soulja Boy, who has spent the past few weeks beefing with other rappers.
For Shia’s part, he responded with a new freestyle on Monday comparing himself to both Stanley Kubrick and Marlon Brando (which, given Brando’s recent rape allegations, may be ill-timed). He also stated he would, in fact, come visit Atlanta ‘when [his] schedule is flexible’.
With all the back-and-forth, there’s a good chance this feud won’t die down anytime soon…
