You’d never think of Snoop Dogg as a nature enthusiast, minus his passion for the growing marijuana, but he’s narrated previous episodes of Planet Earth on Jimmy Kimmel Live over the last year or so and they’re absolutely brilliant.
David Attenborough is a narrating God, but seeing as Planet Earth is the ultimate stoner television programme it seems an ideal fit.
Snoop certainly gives Attenborough a run for his money, with a very, lets’s say, different style. The fact he doesn’t know what half the animals are and he can’t really handle the harsh reality of nature just makes the whole thing even more hilarious.
A fan of Snoop’s skit, titled Plizzanet Earth, started a petition to get the rapper to narrate an entire season of it. They said: “Snoop Dogg has narrated some Planet Earth in the past but yo we need him to narrate full episodes. Sign the petition if you agree.”
Snoop caught wind of the petition and shared it with his followers on Instagram.
The videos which have been posted have all gone viral, featuring Snoop talking about some adorable creatures that he thinks are either beavers or mongooses but are actually otters. He might lack the knowledge, but he definitely makes it entertaining.
It’s a bit of a no brainer if you ask us, and we’re sure it won’t be long until this petition hits its goal of 10,000 signatures.
