Skrillex, the producer of Bieber’s latest album, Purpose, was also on the receiving end of Deadmau5’s barrage as he seemed unable to contain the (justifiable) rage he feels toward the pair as he accused Bieber of using ‘talented producers as foils for his own success’.
The catalyst for the producer’s verbal assault comes when an a fan online describes Bieber’s album as ‘hot’. Deadmau5 instantly hits back saying:
I can accept that his album is probably good, I have no qualms with that, I know decent production when I hear it. That’s not what I’m mad about. What I’m mad about is that none of it is this little fucking dickhead’s. You get what I’m saying? ‘This is my album’. No it’s not your fucking album, it’s Skrilllex’s fucking album, it’s fucking god knows who’s album. Then you going hum ha hum ha. Not even to shit you even wrote…Your just a little meat puppet, dude.
weknowyourdreams.comHis main issue with Skrillex, he said, is that he thinks the producer fed into the Justin Bieber machine:
It’s not that I hate Skrillex, and I hate the shit he does. I hate that he allowed himself to be a goddamn tool for someone else. But I can’t be too much of an ass about it because he likes to do it, he’s a f—ing little hippy and loves working with people, and that’s his thing. I can respect that. That’s fine.
Fair enough I reckon, whether it’s good or not is down to opinion, but don’t let Bieber claim credit for stuff he hasn’t done – his ego is inflated enough as it is.
