The woman who Offset allegedly cheated with while in a relationship with Cardi B has apologised to the rapper, saying she’s ‘remorseful’.
It recently came to light the couple had split up, just months after the birth of their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
Cardi made the shock announcement via video, which was uploaded to her Instagram page yesterday (December 5), telling fans how they’d ‘grew out of love’.
You can watch it below:
The 26-year-old I Like It rapper explained she’s remained friends with Offset and how their break-up was ‘nobody’s fault’.
She explained:
So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners.
He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.
I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. I don’t know. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father and yah.
Despite Cardi’s explanation of what happened, rumours of Offset cheating have followed the couple ever since they tied the knot in 2017.
After their wedding, Offset was accused of making a sex tape with another woman and now, one female has come forward apologising to Cardi for cheating with her ex-husband.
In an interview with TMZ, the woman – called Summer Bunni – cried openly as she acknowledged the fact how her sleeping with Offset could have caused the couple to split.
Take a look at her apology below:
Summer starts off by stating she’s ‘not messed with Offset’ since the birth of his baby, before going on to apologise.
She says:
I didn’t know how serious this marriage was, y’know, I kinda read or kinda see things but it took until today to actually like get into this, seeing everything.
It’s at this point she starts to break down, acknowledging her potential role in the break up of the celebrity couple.
She then states:
I feel ashamed, y’know like growing up it’s a lot but just coming from me and to Cardi B and to her fans and to her family, her situation… I never wanted to break up a happy home or to be the cause of someone just saying f*ck it to get a divorce.
I have not spoken to Cardi B but I would like her to know that I am a very genuine person and I’m not here to break up her family… I’m very sorry that this has happened.
So, according to Summer, her and Cardi have not actually spoken, instead choosing to go through TMZ to make her apology public.
Cardi is yet to respond but keep your eyes on her social media, I’m sure she’ll have something to say about it soon enough.
