One medical student showed exactly why he chose that profession, in an incredible moment of bravery.
After seeing an armed robber try and steal from a woman in New Orleans, he stepped in to save her.
Footage clearly shows the robber then try to turn on the med student, and attempt to fire his gun at the good Samaritan.
The criminal firstly shoots the student in the stomach, then tires to repeatedly shoot him in the head.
Thankfully, the gun wouldn’t unjam, and the student lived to tell the terrifying story.
Police are thought to be hunting the man.
