12-year-old Beats Einstein And Stephen Hawking In IQ Test

A 12-year-old girl has scored 162 on an IQ test a whole 2 points higher than legendary theoretical physicist Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.

Rajgauri Pawar from Cheshire took the British Mensa IQ test in Manchester last month and managed to surpass the so-called genius benchmark of 140 by an amazing 22 points.

This means Ms Pawar is among the top one per cent of people who take the test and is one of only 20,000 people to ever achieve the score.

Her score it also the highest possible IQ for someone who is younger than 18.

Speaking to The Times of India she said: 

I was a little nervous before the test but it was fine and I’m really pleased to have done so well.

Meanwhile he father praised the hard work of her teachers and the support his daughter enjoys at the Altrincham Grammar School for Girls for her tremendous score.

Ms Pawar’s maths teacher Andrew Barry said everyone at the school is delighted and that they all expect great things from her.

In recognition of her incredible score Ms Pawar has joined the British Mensa IQ Society.
