Imagine being able to interview yourself.
Well that’s exactly what one man did, and it started all the way back in 1977 when he was an 18-year-old.
Peter “Stoney” Emshwiller recorded himself filmed himself asking his future self a range of questions, with some potential answers as well, and left it for years.
He then went back to it as a 56-year-old, and played the recording, answering himself.
It’s a cracking idea, and actually really ingenious – because there’s so much you can do with the concept.
You can ask questions, you can give your older self some advice – however good it would be – the limits are endless.
