GettyStaff at LBC ‘cheered and applauded’ when they received the news that colleague and professional loud mouth, Katie Hopkins, had been sacked.
BBC News Media Editor, Amol Rajan, told his followers on Twitter that he was ‘very reliably’ told there were ‘massive cheers and an applause’ in the LBC newsroom when staff received an email about the dismissal.
Katie Hopkins‘ sacking comes after she said that a ‘final solution’ was needed following the Manchester terror attack on Monday night.

In her controversial tweet, she appeared to imply that there a mass genocide of Muslims was a legitimate consideration – her use of ‘final solution’ presumably referring to the Nazis’ plan to murder all Jews within reach.
No official announcement has been made to confirm the reason for her dismissal and Hopkins has responded to people asking her, saying:
Listen funsters, you know I can’t say why, but please stop being kind on email. Compliments & me are like Corbyn and common sense. Opposite.

Her colleagues weren’t the only people cheering at the news as most of Twitter also appeared to be thrilled with the sacking.
Just want to mark this down on my twitter timeline for future reference.

To be fair, I’d have cheered at the news if I was a colleague of hers as well.
