Jeremy Renner

Academy Award winner Jeremy Renner, has an awful lot to be proud actor, singer, Avenger… oh and expert property flipper.

Back in 2002 when he was a struggling actor, he and partner Kristoffer Winters bought their first house, and invested $659,000 (£434,699) into the property before selling it for a whopping $900,000 (£593,671) in just a few months. The duo have since bought and sold more than 20 homes. One of their biggest flips was an over-the-top art deco mansion in Holmby Hills that got in 2007 for $7 million. They renovated it and sold to British property developer for a reported $24 million.

Get a look at some of the renovations the couple have done over the years.

Kaley Cuoco is probably most famous for playing the ditzy neighbour, Penny, in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. However Ms Cuoco had a particularly successful acting career, winning a number of awards, and appearing in such hits as 8 Simple Rules, Prison Break and a number of small films. But did you know she’s also an accomplished horse rider.

Cuoco’s taken part in numerous show jumping competitions including famously the charity competition at the 2nd Annual Longines where she competed dressed as a Jedi.

Vanilla Ice

I should hope that the lyrical genius that is Vanilla Ice needs no introduction. He’s the rap god who brought us such hits as “Go Ninja Go” and “Ice, Ice Baby”. The style icon who made frosted tips THE haircut to have in the 90’s and who starred in the greatest film ever Cool as Ice. So it should come as no surprise that a man so versatile was once the sixth best jet skier in the world.

He began competing in 1993 and managed to break into the top 10 ranking and even had Kawasaki sponsorship, which is genuinely bloody impressive. Although to be fair we don’t know how they rank jet skiers or how many professionals there are so he may have been sixth of six for all we know.

Check out his sweet wave riding skills in this retro video.

Terry Crews

Terry Crews is famous for his acting, a brief American football career and of course those incredible pecs, but did you know he’s also an accomplished photo-realistic painter?

In fact as a young man he received an art scholarship to the prestigious Interlochen Centre for the Arts in Michigan. He followed this up with an art excellence scholarship and a full-ride athletic scholarship for football at Western Michigan University.

Speaking in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Crews said: “My first job in entertainment, I drew courtroom sketches for the worst murder case in Flint, Michigan history.”

During his brief career as a professional football player, Crews kept up his art and, even depended on it to support his family.

He said:

I would get cut from a team, I played on six teams in seven years, so that happened a lot so I would go back into the locker room and ask the players if they wanted their portraits painted… That’s how I survived, I was always on the end of the roster, I was never a big superstar, I was an 11th round draft pick. Humility gets you far. You gotta make some money, you gotta humble yourself…I would literally take me about two months to do a painting, and they would give me like $5,000 and I would survive off that, my whole family survived off that.
