Who knew Blackpool could actually have such a good event on?
Now we all know how everyone pictures Blackpool and it’s not a pretty sight, however we headed down to one of the North Piers’ biggest events Pier Jam and it was surprisingly a pleasant experience.
Basement Jaxx have some absolute classics
The duo belted out some absolute tunes such as; ‘Where’s Your Head At’, ‘Good Luck’ and ‘Never Say Never’ which sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy. Who knew after all these years that their hits could still live on? Especially to such a young crowd…
Blackpool is basically Benidorm
To be brutally honest the venue was a sight for sore eyes, if it weren’t for the great atmosphere and the incredible line-up it would’ve been a disaster. Nevertheless the strange setting kind of added to it and made it a great laugh.
House music is so much better in the sun
Listening to some incredible sets from Sonny Fodera and Claptone whilst sun was shining was bliss, especially as we were able to grab a pint, soak up the sun and relax.
Whilst the sun was setting Basement Jaxx killed it with an incredible set, leading onto headline act MK…
MK puts on a brilliant set
As the sun was going down MK hit the stage and performed some absolute classics such as: ‘Teach Me’, ‘My Head Is A Jungle’ and new single ‘Teach Me’ It topped off a great day out in the sun.
The upcoming line-ups are insane
Pier Jam didn’t stop there…
Duke Dumont, DJ EZ and Hannah Wants will all perform at the event throughout September. Grab tickets here: pierjam.com/tickets
