Despite that whole declaring bankruptcy thing, it turns out 50 Cent isn’t as broke as he’d like us all to think, and he’s just been very generous with his cash indeed.
The 40-year old opened his wallet and donated a cool $10,000 (£6,500) to Passion for Pink, a foundation set up by Hitman Holla’s mother Sevmek ‘Sue’ Fulton, a breast cancer survivor.
A year ago, 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – lost his grandmother to the disease, so the cause is one close to his heart.
Fiddy shared his charitable donation on his Instagram page.
He wrote:
If you noticed me over the years you know I don’t mind fighting. I been fighting my whole life. I had to fight in my hood for position, fight my way into music, fight to Win. Now I gotta fight to keep it, it’s cool it’s just another fight. The only lost on my record is to cancer my Nana was the love of my life, but @hitmanholla mom is gonna Win the rematch for me.
Fiddy’s Effen Vodka company also sponsored a charity fundraiser event held by Passion for Pink on Sunday.
You see, he tries to act all tough but 50 Cent’s a sweetheart really! Massive respect to him for doing this.
