GlamourThe husband of a hero police officer who died on 9/11, has returned her ‘Woman of the Year’ award after the 2015 honour went to Caitlyn Jenner.
Moira Smith received the award from Glamour Magazine posthumously in 2001, after repeatedly entering Tower Two to save civilians.
The tower collapsed around her, trapping her in the rubble and taking her life.
Having heard that Caitlyn Jenner was bestowed the award this year, Jim Smith posted the award back to Glamour and told the magazine of his deep insult.

At a time when we have women in the armed forces fighting and dying for our country, heroic doctors fighting deadly diseases, women police officers and firefighters putting their lives on the line for total strangers, brave women overcoming life threatening diseases…the list of possibilities goes on…is this the best you could do?’
He certainly has a point.
As brave as Caitlyn Jenner may be for so publicly sharing her transgender journey, she is still facing the backlash over a car crash that claimed the life of her neighbour in February of this year.
Jenner, while still living as Bruce, rear-ended Kim Howe, 69, causing her car to run into oncoming traffic and faced a wrongful death lawsuit she was found not guilty in.
Glamour have defended their choice saying ‘We were proud to honor his wife in 2001, and we stand by our decision to honor Caitlyn Jenner.’
