In the event of a zombie apocalypse, I would probably be one of the first to fall; having a gym membership dustier than the exposed bones of a reanimated corpse.
But in the unlikely event I would prove to be a resourceful survivor, it’s morbidly fun to imagine what sort of bit part I would play in protecting the last precious remnants of civilisation.
It’s doubtful I would end up being a tough yet haunted leader a la Rick from The Walking Dead, but I do at least hope I would be able to retain a semblance of humanity in what would undoubtedly be a trying time.
However, as anyone who has followed the trials and tribulations of TWD gang; keeping your morals doesn’t equal survival, and at some point you are going to need to blast out the zombified brains of your former neighbours and co-workers.
And what better way to practice than at a zombie themed paintball escape room, complete with a ravenous zombie horde?

The Undead Hour has been described as ‘a real-life gaming experience like no other’. Plucky players must keep their nerve; cracking codes and deciphering maps in just 60 minutes.
Groups will be split into two rival paintballing teams. But of course, the real threat is the hoard of zombies, which both teams of human survivors must work together to defeat.
According to The Undead Hour website:
Nothing in life comes easy, especially when there are two rival teams, codes to crack, maps to decipher and thousands of paint-balls flying at you from all different directions.
There is also the small matter of a ravenous horde of zombies to contend with!
On judgement day, you and your band of brothers must work together to be victorious in the world’s first escape room/paintball experience.
Gather your fellow comrades and prepare for battle. Only the most daring will survive.
The Undead Hour will take place at two ‘secret war zones’ in London and Manchester, with tickets selling for £32.92. Although this mini apocalypse won’t be arriving before Halloween, you don’t have too long to wait.
The London event will take place Saturday January 26, 2019, with the Manchester event throwing open its spooky doors on Saturday January 19, 2019. Both of these secret locations will be open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Brief footage shows these zombies to be more like the trudging carcasses from Night of The Living Dead than the speedy monsters from 28 Days Later.
However, as true zombie movie buffs will no doubt know, don’t imagine for a second a slow pace will give you a head start…
Who among your friends would turn out to be a tyrannical villain like Negan, and who would prove themselves to be as badass as Michonne?
Here is one way to finally find out who you can trust once the dead break free from their graves…
There are reportedly very limited places for these events, however those who think they can handle this intense experience should subscribe here
