The star Bill Paxton aged 61 has died suddenly following complications from surgery.
His family announced that the movie star, who had roles Titanic, Twister and Aliens had ‘passed away due to complications from surgery’ on Saturday.
Paxton was working on the television show Training Day when he died.
His family paid tribute to him, describing his four decade career as illustrious and calling him a ‘beloved and prolific actor and flimmaker’.
They added: “Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable.”
