Legendary actress Carrie Fisher has sadly passed away after suffering from a massive heart attack on a plane.
According to TMZ, the Star Wars actress, who shot to fame playing Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, was flying from London to Los Angeles when she went into cardiac arrest.
The emergency occurred just 15 minutes before the plane was due to land at its destination.
Paramedics reportedly performed CPR on the 60-year-old before they were able to get a pulse.
Sadly, she later passed away in hospital.
2016 has taken another legend.
RIP Carrie Fisher.
