At a time with a lot of talk and not much action against Trump’s discriminatory travel ban, The CEO of Airbnb has pulled his finger out.
Not only did Brian Chesky condemn the travel ban as divisive and wrong, but he has offered up the three million homes that the company has to refugees.
The homestay network has a ‘disaster response tool’ which enables hosts to offer free housing to displaced people in need and has been previously activated after events like the earthquakes in Italy and wildfire in Chile, Mashable reports.
Not allowing countries or refugees into America is not right, and we must stand with those who are affected.

The ban, which affects citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen, has caused hoards of controversy.

Airbnb is providing free housing to refugees and anyone else who needs it in the event they are denied the ability to board a US-bound flight and are not in your city/country of residence.
We have 3M homes, so we can definitely find people a place to stay.

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings was vocal about how Trump’s actions will ‘make America less safe through hatred and loss of allies’.
He said:
Trump’s actions are hurting Netflix employees around the world, and are so un-American it pains us all.
Worse, these actions will make America less safe (through hatred and loss of allies) rather than more safe.
A very sad week, and more to come with the lives of over 600,000 Dreamers here in a America under imminent threat.
It is time to link arms together to protect American values of freedom and opportunity.

It is great to see the new generation of people clearing up the mess being made by the older generation.
These CEO’s have the power to make a huge direct impact on those in need as well as aid a shift in the global mentality.
