This is the story of a man who saved a bear from drowning. Rather him than me.
The black bear had started to get a little too close to urban areas in Florida, according to the original post on Imgur.
Authorities decided to take action, and sedated the bear with a dart. It then started to become confused and drowsy, running into the sea.
As it got deeper, a bystander, Adam Warwick, realised the bear would drown if nobody did anything to help it, so he swam to the animals rescue.
With the assistance of a small boat he managed to drag the massive 180kg bear 23-metres to shore.
The bear was then transported back to his new home in the forest, with Adam riding with him the whole way. The bear can now live happily ever after in the woods.
Well done Adam for stepping up to something most people wouldn’t dream of doing!
