GettyThink Amber Heard is nothing but a gold digger? Your opinion may not be valid for much longer.
Heard’s lawyer has filed a motion revoking her request for spousal support.
The actress’ financial request provoked Johnny Depp fans to dismiss her allegations of domestic abuse as an attempt to drain his bank account.
And, with the request spawning some pretty terrible victim-blaming and criticism, Heard decided to revoke it. Making everyone’s number one argument towards the actress pretty much invalid.
Amber Heard has withdrawn her request for spousal support (which is STANDARD during divorce filings). You can stop calling her a golddigger.

According to Heard, the money, which would’ve totaled a monthly $50,000 (£35,000) was being ‘used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence.’ She also applied for a restraining order against Depp.
In a court appearance on May 27, Heard appeared with a bruise on her cheek, saying she had ‘endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny’ during their brief 15-month marriage.
The bruise had apparently resulted from an argument with Depp, where he allegedly hurled her phone at her face, grabbed her, pulled her hair, hit her and shouted at her.
Social media, however, didn’t believe the bruise was real:
should be mandatory 4court to prove a bruise is real with makeup remover, #AmberHeard wants an allowance/ promoting her movies. #JohnnyDepp

Where did Amber Heard's bruise go? She took an iPhone in the face & she's going to get 20 Million, I'd be up for that.

Amber Heard: if your bruise was caused by a phone it must've been a heavy one. That's the thing with gold diggers: you're very predictable.

Given the fact that Johnny Depp is right handed, that bruise on Amber Heard's face seems a bit off, dontcha think

Others backed Heard’s claims:
People are saying Amber Heard's bruise was fake because it just "disappeared" haven't you people ever heard of concealer? Color correcting?

If good makeup can hide a tattoo, it can certainly hide a bruise. I hate people on the internet. #AmberHeard

According to the actress though, that incident was not the first time something like that had happened.
A restraining order hearing scheduled for Friday will take place, and according to People magazine, Depp’s attorneys have moved to block Heard’s witnesses from taking the stand.
The truth is yet to be known, but with all the accumulating evidence, it’s becoming harder to argue in Depp’s favor.
