GettyAndy Murray will donate his Queen’s Club Championship prize money to victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
The world number one tennis ace, will play his first match in the Aegon Championships on Tuesday when he faces Aljaz Bedene.

GettyHis plan to donate the money was confirmed by tournament sources, though his own management team declined to comment on it, according to the Independent.
The tournament itself is also said to be preparing to make a significant donation to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.
79 people have been confirmed dead or missing presumed dead so far, after a fire tore through the block of flats in west London in the early hours of Wednesday last week.
GettyPolice have named five victims: Anthony Disson, 65, Ya-Haddy Sisi Saye, 24, (also known as Khadija Saye), Abufars Ibrahim, 39, Khadija Khalloufi, 52 and Mohammad Alhajali, 23.
This isn’t the first time Andy has been involved in donating, and raising money for charity. He has been quietly supportive of many charities throughout his career.
Four years ago he gave his £73k winnings to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity after his friend, Ross Hutchins, was treated by the hospital following a diagnosis with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
GettyHe was also involved in the ‘Rally for Bally’ at the Queen’s Club, raising more than £50k in memory of former British number one, Elena Baltacha, who died of liver cancer when she was 30.
And then in 2015, Murray helped raise £83k for UNICEF to help those fleeing from Syria by donating £50 for every ace he hit between September and the end of the year.
