So, it looks like the Earth is going to be destroyed by a giant asteroid that his hurtling towards us, again.
The claims being made by a set of conspiracy theorists basically state that the world will be destroyed at some point between September 21 and 28.
Self-proclaimed prophet Efrain Rodriguez event went as far as passing this groundbreaking research onto NASA. His prediction supports the Blood Moon Prophecy, with September 28 marking the last of four ‘blood moons’. Yeah.. Me either.
He says he had a vision of said asteroid ‘entering the airspace of Puerto Rican town, Arecibo, striking the sea between the island of Mona and Mayaguez and triggering a magnitude 12 earthquake’.
Unbelievably, the claims have managed to frighten so many people, that NASA have been forced to make an official statement on it.
Speaking at its Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in California, Paul Chodas from NASA’s Near-Earth Object office, said: “There is no existing evidence that an asteroid or any other celestial object is on a trajectory that will impact Earth.

“There is no scientific basis, not one shred of evidence, that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates.”
