
A heartless armed gang allegedly attacked a couple, raped the woman in front of her boyfriend before tying him up and throwing him in a lake, as she was forced to watch him drown.
In the horrific series of events, a second couple were also attacked by the all-male group and another man bound and drowned in the lake alongside his friend.
The friends were walking home in Rhodes Park, Kensington, near Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday evening when they were set upon by the thugs, one of whom is said to have been in possession of a knife and another a firearm.

According to reports in South African media, one of the women managed to escape, but the other was captured and raped by a gang member in front of her tied-up boyfriend, before he and his friend were killed.
Authorities are now investigating two counts of murder and one count of rape.
Cleveland Police spokesperson Constable Mpho Mashakane said:
Two men, accompanied by their girlfriends, were walking at the park at about 6.30pm yesterday when they were approached by the group of men. One of the suspects raped one female victim. The bodies of the two male victims, aged 25 and 32, were later found by police divers.

No arrests have yet been made following the disgusting crimes and police are appealing for any information which could help them track down the suspects.
