We’re less than a month away from the release of Avengers: Infinity War but we don’t know what the future holds for Earth’s mightiest heroes.

What we do know however is that we should be scared for our favourite superheroes, or at least that’s what the Avengers 4 directors Joe and Anthony Russo claim.

In a recent twitter exchange with @occmarvel the pair, who are also directing Infinity War, warned that fans should be worried about what happens when Thanos comes to Earth.

@occmarvel tweeted:

The fact that the Russo Brothers won’t give us the Avengers 4 title because it spoils Infinity War scares the shit outta me.

The Russos simply responded: ‘It should.’

It’s the full stop at the end of the sentence that makes it so terrifying isn’t it, like when a parent uses your full name or a mad titan comes to steal a gem embedded in your head.

The secrecy surrounding the title’s nothing new, the Russo’s have been pretty open about it since they came on board the project two years ago when Avengers Three and Four were planned to be called Avengers: Infinity War Part One and Part Two.

While working on the films the brothers came to the conclusion that ‘the movies are two very different movies’ and they believed that using the tile for the fourth Avengers film would be misleading.

Unfortunately, the title they chose ended up being a spoiler for Infinity War so Disney and Marvel have been unable to announce what the name of the grand finale for the MCU is.

The question on every Marvel Zombie’s mind now though, of course, is what will the title be?

Speculation has been rife with fans guessing Avengers: DisassembledAvengers: Infinity Gauntlet and Avengers: Shattered Heroes as potential names for the film.

Personally, I’d lean towards Avengers: Everyone Introduced In Phase One & Two Is Deadbut I don’t know.

What I do know is that Avengers: Infinity War is shaping up to be the biggest film of 2018, and has already broken ticket sales records on Fandango.

The movie, which along with Avengers 4, will serve as the grand finale to the MCU, sees Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworthfinally go up against Thanos (Josh Brolin) as he attempts to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet.

To fight off the evil Titan the three will assemble the biggest Avengers team yet featuring Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and countless other heroes from across the cinematic universe.

Even the Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Drax (Dave Bautista), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) will make an appearance!

As you’d expect with a movie of this size Marvel Studios are expecting a massive return at the box-office with pundits predicting it’ll take at least $200 million in its first weekend.

By the end of it’s run Disney will reportedly be expecting the film to rake in a galactic $1.47 billion but some are predicting that it could smash that record.

After all, finales always generate more interest than normal entries into a franchise and if Return of the King and The Deathly Hallows have taught us anything it’s that we can expect to see that at the box-office.

Could $2 billion be out of the question? Maybe not.

Avengers: Infinity War is out in cinemas on 26 April.
