She’s done it again – Azealia Banks continues to showcase her talent for speaking way out of line on Twitter.

This time, the rapper called for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be gang-raped by black men, filmed, and then posted on the Internet.

In the now-delted Tweets, Banks appears to have based her tasteless comments on an article from Newslo – a satirical website, which states that Palin said, “I’m telling you, I’ve been saying it for years, but nobody’s listening – slavery wasn’t forced onto African-Americans, they accepted it willingly.”

Obviously, Banks made a big mistake and mistook a satirical article for a legitimate news report. Palin reminded her she was tricked, writing on Facebook, “You’re obviously not exercising enough intelligence to acknowledge you’ve been sucked into believing some fake interview.”

She went on to say: “Why don’t we strengthen both our platforms and work together on something worthwhile — like condemning racism.”

Hey Female Rapper – listen up, little darling. No one has any idea what you're wigging out about in these bizarre,…

But she wasn’t done just yet:

And now I’ll go through my young daughter’s playlist to make sure there hasn’t been any inadvertent addition of any anti-woman, pro-rape garbage that you seem to endorse, which perpetuates the cultural challenges we face in America.

Banks has since apologised on Tumblr for her comments, but the former Alaska governor has gone one step further to make sure she’s been heard.

Palin told PEOPLE that she plans to take legal action against Banks ‘on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning’, citing that she has had ‘enough of unanswered threats and attacks’ against her and her family.

She said: “So, for the first time I’m going to enjoy the only retribution some protected ‘celebrities’ seem to understand – I’m suing Azealia Banks and can’t wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long.”

We’re yet to see if she’ll actually share her winnings – or if she’ll actually win. But surely this will be an entertaining case to follow.
