It’s the gift that keeps on giving, as Battlefield 4 gets one of Battlefield 2‘s most popular maps as a free piece of DLC.
Cast your mind back two years, and Battlefield 4 was a hideous broken mess, practically begging you not to play it for all the glitches that shipped with the game.
Fast forward to today, and it’s one of the most stable multiplayer experiences you could hope for, with developers DICE rewarding players with numerous free nibbles of DLC.
The latest of these is the Battlefield 2 map Dragon Valley, which will be sneaking onto Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC as part of the Legacy Operations DLC later this year.
As outlined in DICE’s Battleblog, Dragon Valley 2015 is basically the same expansive vehicle map with re-jigged graphics for the current-gen consoles.
The Legacy Operations DLC hasn’t been given an exact date, but we do know that it won’t be coming to past-gen consoles, with DICE saying that only essential updates will feature on them from now on.
