Like a mother nurturing its young, Bear Grylls has been attempting to keep President Obama’s strength up by feeding him a bear’s rejected Salmon. The stunt firmly places the Prez below bears in the food chain, despite earlier studies.

Obama took time out of a recent trip to Alaska to highlight the effects of climate change by appearing on ‘Running Wild with Bear Grylls’, as of course is presidential tradition.

As Grylls slowly reached into his backpack, he explained that he found a half-mauled salmon by the river and that it was still edible:

Alaska is a land of bear and salmon. We haven’t got bear, but this is for real, I found this on the river bank OK? Don’t freak out too much, but this is half-eaten by a bear.

After hearing that bears apparently prefer the fat of the fish and not the meat, the commander-in-chief replied with one of the most rock-and-roll lines ever said by a President, “Why wouldn’t the bear finish this sucker? This looks like a nice lookin’ piece of fish.”

Obama called the experience one of the best days of his presidency and admitted to being relieved to be out of the office and out of a suit. The President’s episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls is yet to be given a date, but is expected to air some time this autumn.
