Beth Chapman, the wife of Duane ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ Chapman has been put into a medically induced coma during her ongoing struggle with cancer.
The beloved reality TV personality was first diagnosed with throat cancer in September 2017. Later the same year doctors said she was clear, but it later came back and spread to her lungs.
Chapman and her doting husband made a special programme called Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives, which included 13-hour surgery Beth had to remove a Stage 2 tumour after her initial diagnosis.
However, at the end of 2018 it was revealed that the cancer was incurable and in April 2019 she was taken to hospital with ‘serious breathing issues’.
The family have this weekend confirmed the reality TV star had been put under a coma which was medically-induced on Saturday 22 June, reports Hawaii News Now.
She was admitted to the intensive care unit at Queen’s Medical Center in Hawaii, where she lives with her family.
Duane has since called on the couple’s supporters to ‘say your prayers for Beth right now’. He also sent ‘sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer’.
Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you
