Fashion magazine Vanity Fair has made a huge photoshop fail and everybody’s talking about it.
Not only has the mag given Reese Witherspoon three legs, they’ve printed an image of Oprah Winfrey with ‘three hands’.
The 24th annual ‘Hollywood’ issue of the magazine features 12 celebrities and one journalist on its fold-out cover, with the focus being on the Time’s Up call to end sexual harassment and abuse in Hollywood
Celebrities in the photo include Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Michael B Jordan, Zandaya, Wonder Woman actor, Gal Gadot – and journalist Graydon Carter, who was the editor of Vanity Fair for 25 years.
The issue was going to feature actor James Franco, but he was removed from the image amid sexual harassment allegations made against him.
Forget Reese Witherspoon having 3 legs in Vanity Fair’s photo, Oprah has 3 hands in another ?? (She’s holding Reese) pic.twitter.com/ngZ4cFwRWK

Plenty of people were talking about the cover but mostly pinpointing the clear photoshop problems rather than anything else.
On the cover, Reese Witherspoon appears to have three legs – and in one of the images in the magazine, Oprah is pictured with a hand on Reese’s hip, another hand on her lap, and then a third hand wrapped around Reese’s waist.
Fail.

Others took it upon themselves to criticise the work of those responsible for editing the photo.
Kendra commented:
Whoever was in charge of editing that vanity fair cover, i would just like to ask how these mistakes happen? Like making sure your cover stars have a correct number of limbs is literally your job? [Sic]
And Heather Hear was outraged:
Vanity Fair cover is a disgrace. 12 extraordinary stars, one very momentous year. The 2018 Hollywood portfolio is here. Oprah’s three hands and Reese’s three legs. And they digitally removed James Franco.

Reese responded with humour, tweeting:
Well…I guess everybody knows now…I have 3 legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am. (and I will never apologise for snuggling Oprah.. if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it).

To which Oprah responded:
I accept your 3rd leg. As I know you accept my 3rd hand.
I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand??????❤️

Vanity Fair, which has not responded to the Photoshop mistakes, said of the issue:
12 extraordinary stars, one very momentous year—the 2018 Hollywood portfolio is here. In the quarter-century since Vanity Fair launched the Hollywood Issue, show business has changed in fundamental ways, as have magazines—but a star-studded, foldout cover remains a surefire thrill.
Ooops.
