Footage of a plastic surgeon and his nurse dancing while performing surgery has been released online amid calls for the pair to be punished.
The video shows the surgeon – named as David Majana, and nurse – Angelica Mejia – from Medellin in Colombia, busting grooves to Treasure by Bruno Mars, while a patient lies unconscious on their operating table, reports RT.com.
Mejia can be seen waving around what looks like a pretty large flap of skin as Majana dances around while holding on to the unknowing patient.

City councillor Bernardo Alejandro Guerra said the video shows a lack of ethics and respect for patients.
He was reportedly handed the footage by a whistleblower who told him: “That man has to pay, that is an abuse.”
Guerra also claimed that some of Majana’s other patients have launched criminal proceedings against the surgeon – including one concerning the death of a 42-year-old patient earlier this year.
One of the surgeon’s former patients, Carmen Calderon, came forward after seeing the video to reveal her experience.
She had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation surgery but just days later experienced complications and had to go to hospital – she is now in the process of taking legal action against Majana.
However, not everyone seems angry at the snake-hipped surgeon. Plenty of people have in fact defended Majana, questioning why people are outraged and pointing out that at least he is enjoying his work.
Which is fair enough until people start suing you for botching operations…
