If this is how he treats his friends, I’d hate to be his enemy.

Commonwealth silver medallist Mark Pollock (39) is suing his close personal friends after he fell 25 feet out their bathroom window onto concrete in 2010. The fall caused Mr Pollock to have catastrophic spinal injuries that forced him into a wheelchair.

Enda and Madeline Cahill are looking at the wrong end of a court settlement for not closing the window in the second story bathroom at the house in Henley-on-Thames.

No news on how he managed to get out the window, as Mr Pollock doesn’t remember anything about the fall. Mr and Mrs Cahill deny negligence and any wrong doing, as they offered Mr Pollock a bed downstairs, which he opted not to take.

Mr Pollock was also the first blind man to reach the South Pole, lost his sight at age 22 in 1998. He was due to marry his fiancée weeks after the accident in which he fractured his skull, broke his back in three places and had severe bleeding on the brain.
