Japanese YouTuber きらめきでどーだい had been practicing for his big moment for 3 whole months by playing Super Mario Bros without actually looking at the screen.

You can watch the video below, and marvel at the way that he nonchalantly leaps over obstacles and enemies that had us rage quitting years ago, and that was with the benefit of full sight.

It’s clear that our hero relied on a focused blend of skill, muscle memory, audio cues from the game, and witchcraft. We can’t look away from a game for more than a second without meeting a grisly end, so watching this fifteen minute clip leaves us feeling a bit shit.

Where will this Daredevil-like skill take him next? Is there anywhere to go from here but down? Going from his jubilant reaction at the end of the video, he’s reached a milestone in his life. Good for you, mate.
