The 7-year-old’s father Andrew had flown from Australia to Barcelona, landing on Saturday, after he and mum Jumarie were seriously injured after being struck by a van which killed 13 people.

Spanish authorities are said to have a body they believe to be Julian’s but are waiting on an official identification.

The police said:

Neither were we searching nor have we found any lost child in the Barcelona attack. All the victims and injured have been located.

Another child killed in the terrorist attack was a three-year-old Spanish boy, who died next to his mother.

Those killed or injured from the attack came from 34 countries that included China, Colombia, France, Germany, Honduras and Morocco.

Jared Tucker and wife Heidi Nunes were on their honeymoon when they were caught up in the horror.

Nunes managed to hide herself in a souvenir shop but her husband sadly died after getting hit by the van.

An Italian father called Bruno Gulotta, 35, was killed while trying to protect his child.

As the van approached, Gulotta knelt down in front of his five-year-old son to shield him and was subsequently struck down.
