A locations manager scouting for Netflix crime drama Narcos, has been found dead in his car.
Spanish newspaper El Pais, reports 37-year-old, Carlos Muñoz, was discovered in the vehicle, his body ‘riddled with gunshots’ in rural Mexico.
A friend of Muñoz – who wishes to remain anonymous – says he was scouting areas for season four of the drama when he was last seen alive.

Details of what exactly went on remain hazy, however Muñoz’s friend suggested the presence of an ‘unfamiliar person’ with a camera could have had something to do with the tragedy.
His body was found near the borders of Hidalgo state, which is said to have the highest murder rate in Mexico.
His friend said:
Maybe they thought he was collecting information and they started tracking him in a car?
Netflix have released a statement expressing their condolences as well as highlighting details of Muñoz’s death are still being uncovered.
The statement reads:
We are aware of the passing of Carlos Munoz, a well-respected scout and send our condolences to his family.
The facts surrounding his death are still unknown as authorities continue to investigate.
Our thoughts are with Carlos’ family and friends at this difficult time.
