Boris Johnson Could Become Prime Minister

As the night moves onward with nothing but uncertainty in the air, the grotesque face of Tory elitism, Boris Johnson, is eyeing up his chances of becoming Prime Minister.

Just before 10pm tonight, odds on Boris Johnson to take over from Theresa May as PM of the UK were 66/1. Now, in the aftermath of a shock exit-poll, the former Mayor of London is just 5/1.

When a confident Theresa May called the snap election back in April, her eyes were set on a Conservative landslide victory. The election was merely to secure her position as a Prime Minister with the people behind her.

But oh how the tides have changed with the exit-poll suggesting a minority win for the Conservatives meaning either a coalition, which is highly unlikely, a minority government, which is also unlikely, or another election.

A spokesperson for SunBets said:

He has always been favourite to take over from May to be the next Conservative Leader at odds of 3/1 ahead of Phillip Hammond and Amber Rudd.

We are currently predicting a small Conservative overall majority so Boris may have to wait to move into his old mate Dave’s old house a little while longer.

As you can probably imagine, if May is unable to make significant gains on the 2015 election then confidence in her as the leader of this country will dwindle almost instantly.

On the other hand, Corbyn’s position as leader of the Labour Party seems very safe – according to Andrew Marr.

It’s going to be a long night.
