One man was astonished to see his son turned away from a private Kindergarten in Scottsdale, Arizona, because of his connections with the porn industry.
Jay Grdina used to run the highly successful ClubJenna.com, with ex-wife and former porn star Jenna Jameson, before selling the company to Playboy.
This is despite Grdina no longer working in the industry, and actually being CEO of a multimillion dollar company, Dolce Bevuto, that sells hangover drink NoHo.
The couple have since divorced, with Grdina remarrying and having two sons, one of which was enrolled in the Kindergarten, yet was rejected only a day before he was due to start.
This was because, according to the school, ‘the lines of business that your family is/was in would violate these foundational critical issues of SCA’.
He expressed his shock over the rejection, claiming:
I already had three nephews that attended the school, two of which graduated with top honours.
So I really didn’t think it would be an issue, especially for myself. We went through the full interview process starting in December of last year. I mean, they had plenty of time to do their background research.
Grdina now plans to sue, something he revealed in an interview with TMZ.
