Police have now revealed that the man who killed E’Dena Hines, 33, her boyfriend, Lamar Davenport, was attempting to perform an exorcism in a drug-induced psychosis.

Officials say she was stabbed around 16 times, and when police got there they said Davenport ‘was still making a stabbing motion with his arm, but he had nothing in his fist — the knife was jutting out of her chest’.
Since his arrest, Davenport has undergone a psychiatric evaluation at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and charged with second degree murder.
