GettySpain and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea’s Euro 2016 campaign could be over, after reportedly being named in a prostitution scandal.
A protected witness reportedly claimed that she was taken to a hotel room, where she was abused by two footballers. One of the footballers is alleged to be Athletic Bilbao’s Iker Muniain, while the second has yet to be named.
El Diario report that the witness was giving evidence in the investigation against Torbe, a Spanish porn producer, who was jailed last April on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault, child pornography relating to prostitution, extortion and money laundering.

The paper tweeted the official police document on which their claims are based, and reported that De Gea is believed to have not been directly involved in the abuse, but has been accused of taking part in arranging the encounter.
The report – which has been published in Spanish newspaper El Diario – says that Torbe raped a minor and recorded it for the purpose of sending it to Spanish footballers – including De Gea.
