WikimediaNice airport has been evacuated by the French army amid fears of a bomb threat in one of the terminals.
Hundreds of passengers were ushered outside after a suspicious bag was found abandoned in the terminal building, the Daily Mail reports.
England supporters were arriving at the airport ahead of England’s last-16 Euro’s clash with Iceland in the city tomorrow.

The Mail spoke to an eyewitness, who said they heard a small explosion after the terminal had been searched:
There was the sound of a small explosion inside – the military is in there – it is believed they exploded luggage.

Another passenger added:
We had to leave the airport. They were screaming at us in French to get out. Then there was the sound of a small explosion – like a pop.

It is understood that the airport has since reopened following the bomb scare.
