A major police operation is underway after there were reports of gun shots outside a swimming pool in Spalding, Lincolnshire.
Police confirmed that three people have died following the incident, with one of them understood to be the offender, The Daily Express reports.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Castle Sports Complex swimming pool at around 9am today, before police, paramedics and an air ambulance arrived.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said:
We can confirm that there has been a firearms incident on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding in the vicinity of the Castle Swimming Pool, in which three people have been fatally wounded, including the suspected offender. There is an ongoing police investigation and at this stage we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
They added that there is ‘no indication’ that this is a terrorist related incident and no shots were fired by police.
The police are urging members of the public to stay away from the area.
