Last weekend, Britain First went to Leicester for a rally and leader Paul Golding was chased out of the city by anti-fascist protesters – so, of course, they returned yesterday and, predictably, things went even worse.
This time, Golding ended his day being arrested by the police, the Independent reports, which is about as bad as it gets really.
BRITAIN FIRST IN LEICESTER AGAIN TODAY MASSIVE SUPPORT FROM PUBLIC

Golding and around 20 Britain First activists set up a stand handing out party leaflets in Gallowtree Gate on Saturday, but the party were quickly surrounded by protesters chanting ‘losers’.
Photos and video footage of the group being confronted en masse soon hit the Internet, and painted a very different picture of the day than Britain First’s own, typically misleading, social media posts.

Next, according to the Leicester Mercury, Leicester City mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, reportedly confronted Golding during the demonstration saying:
This is a multi racial city and you are not welcome here. I have a mandate from 77,000 voters and I say on their behalf, leave Leicester.
Responding to Sir Peter’s remarks, Golding allegedly said:
We left because we were threatened with arrest if we did not go. We came back to disprove media statements that said we were driven out. We are here peacefully to hand out our leaflets.

Things soon went from bad to worse for Britain First, as Golding was reportedly later arrested by Leicestershire Police for breach of bail.
A police spokeswoman said officers attended the demonstration in Leicester at 11:40am on Saturday in order to ‘facilitate a peaceful protest,’ adding: “A 34-year-old man was arrested for breach of bail and remains in police custody.”
Golding later accused the protesters of being traitors from outside of Leicester. Or, maybe Paul, an overwhelming majority of people just disagree with your group’s odious, racist point of view? Just a thought…
